I was happy to have been chosen recently as one of 15 Social Media "personalitites" given $100 in Downtown Fredericton bucks, as part of their big "Bring it Downtown!" holiday promotion. I get 100 smackeroonies to spend downtown however I see fit. The tradeoff? I get to tell all you sweet peeps about my fun. Not too bad, eh?
We gathered at the Garrison on Tuesday (yes, you were invited) to kick off this promotion and introduce the 15 shoppers.
I was presented with the following package:
Inside were maps of Downtown, a nice welcome letter, some tips.... and of course, my $100 in Downtown Fredericton dollars.
It quickly went in my wallet.
And so I'm off to do some holiday shopping! I already know where my first stop will be. It's a no-brainer!
