Some of my Twitter, Facebook and website friends may not know in addition to designing stuff, building websites and being a general nuisance, that I'm also a musician.  I've always been a singer.  I've been singing since I was 3 or 4.  I also dabbled with the drums in my teens, and guitar in my early twenties.  As long as I've needed to buy a set of drumsticks, a microphone or more recently a guitar and the accessories that go along with it... I've always gone to Tony's Music Box on Queen Street in Downtown Fredericton.

I recently decided it was time to buy an acoustic guitar and learn how to play it well enough to play it in front of people.  Naturally, I paid Tony's a visit.

Now, when I need new strings, a fresh batch of picks or as you can see in the video above, a humidifier... I always go to Tony's.

Tony's Music Box has been in business since 1975.  That's over 35 years of helping Fredericton create music.  They are a locally owned and operated piece of Fredericton history.  My honest opinion?  Support LOCAL before you pay the big chain franchise a visit.

So whether you're looking for a musical instrument, music lessons or just want to see what they have, stop in and see Michael George and the crew at Tony's.
